  • Spam Header String: X-Spam-Level: *****
  • In your mail program setup a rule to send emails with a header above to your trash.
Apple Mail
  1. Not Needed
 Thunderbird
  1. Click on Tools > Junk Mail controls
  2. Check the box to "trust junk mail header set by:"
  3. From the drop down select "SpamAssassin"
Alternately you can setup a Rule to catch spam based on the X-Spam-Level header
  1. Click on Tools > Message Filters
  2. Click the "new" button
  3. Click first drop and and select customize. Create a new header labled "X-Spam-Level"
  4. Select the newly created header then make sure contains is selected next then enter "******" (5 astericks).
  5. in the Perform Action box move these messages to your trash box
  6. Click "OK"
 Outlook 2003
  1. Click on Tools > Rules Wizard
  2. Create a new Rule
  3. Set the rule to look for the Spam Header String above and move it to your trash folder. Apply this rule to all messages
